India's most followed daily lottery. The Nagaland State Lottery runs the Dear 1 PM and 8 PM draws every day with a ₹6 ticket and a ₹1 crore first prize, plus festival bumpers such as the Dear Puja Bumper.
The 6 PM Dear draw is conducted by the Sikkim State Lotteries and is published together with the Lottery Sambad results.
Run by the Kerala government since 1967. Seven weekly lotteries (Bhagyathara, Sthree Sakthi, Dhanalekshmi, Karunya Plus, Suvarna Keralam, Karunya and Samrudhi) are drawn at 3 PM with a ₹50 ticket and a ₹1 crore first prize. Six bumpers a year include the Thiruvonam Bumper (₹30 crore in 2026).
Punjab State Lotteries are best known for festival bumpers – Lohri Makar Sankranti, Holi, Vaisakhi, Rakhi, Puja and Diwali – with first prizes of up to ₹11 crore, plus monthly ‘Dear’ schemes.
The West Bengal State Lottery holds seven weekly draws and six festival bumpers a year (New Year, Holi, Nababarsha, Rathayatra, Puja and Diwali).
Maharashtra runs weekly and monthly state lottery schemes with festival bumpers; prizes and ticket prices vary by scheme.

Lotteries are regulated by the Lotteries (Regulation) Act, 1998, and each state decides whether to allow them. State lotteries are currently permitted in 13 states; most other states ban the sale of lottery tickets. Himachal Pradesh announced in 2025 that it would resume lotteries.
